Hi!
I’m Gwen Donaldson.
I want to bring a new, optimistic, and cooperative voice to our City Hall on October 15th.
I think we need to work together to build a Campbell River that works better for all of us: families, local businesses, children, youth, and adults of all ages.
Campbell River is an awesome place to live and raise a family; but, I also think that there is a space for new voices and new ideas in our community, and I hope that you will consider voting for me in October!
I am currently the coordinator of the Campbell River Community Action Team (CAT), and I own a small business, through which I have been involved in a number of community projects, ranging from food security, to CR Live Streets.
I am running for Campbell River City Council because we need to add a new voice to council that represents forward thinking ideas, modern policies, optimism, and good governance.

• Campbell River Community Action Team• Walk with Me • Dementia Awareness • Community Kitchen • Food Security • CR Live Streets • International Overdose Awareness Day • Peers in the Emergency Department • advocated for increased mental health and addictions services • educated professional groups about eating disorders • traveled through the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, and South East Asia • opened and operated a remote sport fishing resort • completed a masters degree in public administration • volunteered with Special Olympics • commercial fished • coordinated the placement of over 350 AEDs across Canada • studied Art History • stayed at home with my kids • participated in early childhood programs, kids sports, and school programs •
